An excerpt from the biography of the founder of the Illusionist Guild:
"... though he was considered a master of his field he often drew criticism from others for the less then savory company he kept. Amongst those he most frequently fraternized with were: A brilliant doctor who was often thought mad, a geriatric aviator, one who was reputed to be a real "livewire", a hunter whose skill was matched only by his obsession, and a man who some believed to be the lord of sleep but most regarded as a mere thug. With friends like these it is of little wonder that illusionists are often thought to be devious and underhanded even to this day..."
